Shaun Mullen works at Special Collections, the rare book and manuscript library at UD's Morris Library, and runs Kiko’s House, a cultural and current affairs blog. He is the author of The Bottom of the Fox: A True Story of Love, Devotion & Cold-Blooded Murder, which is now in its second printing, as well as There's A House In The Land: A Tale of the 1970s. For two decades, he worked as a reporter, editor, and mentor at the Philadelphia Daily News.

Lorie Hearn founded inewsource, an IRE award-winning nonprofit investigative journalism organization based at San Diego State University, after leaving her position as the senior editor for Metro and Watchdog Journalism at the San Diego Union-Tribune.
David Hoffman won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for general nonfiction for his latest book, The Dead Hand: The Untold Story of the Cold War Arms Race and Its Dangerous Legacy. He was a contributing editor for the Washington Post, and is now a correspondent for PBS Frontline.
Charles Lewis founded the Fund for Independence in Journalism and the Center for Public Integrity. He is the author of 935 Lies: The Future of Truth and the Decline of America's Moral Integrity. He has served as a Ferris Professor at Princeton University and a Shorenstein Fellow at Harvard University, and he was a producer for both ABC News and CBS News' 60 Minutes . He is currently executive editor of the Investigative Reporting Workshop and a professor at American University's School of Communication.

Ellen Cannon was an editor at bankrate.com, which is based about a mile from her house in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Ellen left bankrate.com in 2010 to become the editorial director of financial services websites for QuinStreet, including moneyrates.com and cardratings.com.

Gwen Florio writes: "After 37 years in journalism, I left the Missoulian a year ago to write novels. My first novel, Montana (The Permanent Press, 2013, won the national Pinckley Prize for a debut crime novel and is a finalist for the International Thriller Award and High Plains Book Award, both in the first novel category. A sequel, Dakota, was published in 2014."
Dawn Langton writes: "I graduated from UD in 1977 with a Major in English and a concentration in Journalism. I was fortunate to have Nick Nickerson, seasoned newspaperman, as my adviser and professor. I was a sports writer for The Review for two years under tireless editors. When I graduated I went right to work as as a sports writer for the Newark Post, an award-winning weekly. Later that year I became sports editor. Over the years I worked at various newspapers and as publications director at several colleges. In 1990, my husband Dale DiLeo (UD '75) and I started Training Resource Network, a publishing company specializing in books for the disability field. Since then I have been writer and editor for our monthly paid subscription newsletter, edited about 30 books, and co-authored two. Last year, I edited our top seller, Raymond's Room: Ending the Segregation of People with Disabilities, which was a Foreword Magazine Book of the Year Finalist."
Tom Turcol has joined Kennedy Communications, a D.C.-based political communications firm, as a senior strategist specializing in message and media planning for political and corporate clientele.

Gail Bulfin was training editor and readers editor of the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel. She is currently the Vice President of Membership Development for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.
Cari DeSantis writes: "After two terms in Governor Ruth Ann Minner's Cabinet as Secretary of the Delaware Department of Services for Children, Youth & Families, I accepted a job in Seattle, Washington as Executive Vice President, Public Affairs & Communications for Casey Family Programs, a national operating foundation with a $2.7 billion endowment, focused on improving public child welfare and foster care systems. I supervise the federal and state public policy efforts, communications, strategic alliances, research, and marketing functions. Although I am based in Seattle, I travel all over the U.S. and my staff are in Seattle and in Washington DC, so I am back and forth and really racking up air miles." Today, she is President and CEO of Melwood, a nonprofit that helps create jobs and opportunities for people living with disabilities.

Cris Barrish is senior investigative reporter at The News Journal, winner of dozens of regional and national awards for his exposes on corruption, politics and criminal justice. He was lead author of "Fatal Embrace,'' a true crime book about the murder of gubernatorial secretary Anne Marie Fahey by millionaire Delaware attorney Thomas Capano. In 2010 he received national recognition from four separate journalistic organizations for his coverage of the Dr. Earl Bradley pedophile case: 1st place in the University of Colorado's Al Nakkula Award for Police Reporting; 1st place in the Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi "Public Service'' category; 1st place in the Best of Gannett "Watchdog'' category; and honorable mention in the Associated Press Managing Editors "Public Service'' category.

Joe Clancy is the editor, publisher and owner of ST Publishing in Fair Hill, Maryland. ST produces The Saratoga Special newspaper, thisishorseracing.com website and other projects (all related to horse racing) and edits Mid-Atlantic Thoroughbred magazine. The Saratoga Special is a daily in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. published for six weeks every summer. In 2012, Joe wrote a sports feature in the New York Times about Arcadius, a racehorse who died after winning a major race. Piece appeared on page 1 of sports and received much national attention. In early 2015, Joe received the Eclipse Award for media excellence in Thoroughbred racing for a news account of the 2014 Preakness Stakes.
